The Indian Space Research Organization is attempting to expand its ability to convey by scaling up the recurrence of dispatches to 12 every year from the seven at present by building more satellites and bringing down the cost of access to space.
"Prior, we were doing 2-3 (dispatches) every year, then we expanded it to 4-5, most recent couple of years we have been doing seven dispatches," space office Chairman A S Kiran Kumar told PTI.
"Presently, we are attempting to go up to 8-9 PSLV every year, two GSLV-Mk II and one GSLV-Mk III. Add up to around 12 every year," he said.
ISRO is attempting to expand its ability to convey by scaling up the recurrence of dispatches by building more satellites, bringing down the cost of access to space and furthermore to do heavier satellite dispatches, the Chairman said.
The space organization is developing a moment vehicle get together working to enhance the turnaround time and throughput for the PSLV so that with a similar platform ISRO can accomplish more dispatches, he said.
Kiran Kumar said endorsement for a proposition to fabricate a space station was yet to come.
ISRO arrangements to embrace the Chandrayaan-2 mission in the main quarter of the following logbook year, he said.
"It (Chandrayaan-2) is a completely Indian undertaking. There is no Russian support in that," Kiran Kumar said.
"Every one of the improvements required for that, all the variable push motors, lander, rover....all that work is going on and we are preparing for this dispatch," he said.
"Another Mars mission, Venus mission or Asteroids mission...all these conceivable outcomes we are chipping away at; study groups are taking a gander at it, and after that we will finish sooner or later of time and begin getting endorsements for them," he said.
On reusable dispatch vehicle, he said ISRO has recognized its next strides as far as air-breathing drive framework.
"We are presently attempting to do an analysis where it will exhibit that the push produced is more than the grinding with the goal that you have a net positive push.
"What we have (officially) showed is ignition occurring with oxygen and hydrogen. The following stride is the pushed whatever is created ought to be more than the contact that will come up in light of the surfaces included," Kiran Kumar clarified.
"Once that is done, then it's a major capacity. So we are working towards that now and regarding reusable dispatch vehicle I think landing gear framework to that and leading a few analyses that is the following stride and past that we are hoping to scale up the model and do the following arrangement of exercises," he said.
